For Helen
Helen, this is Mom's junk room. I think she would like for you to come for a visit -- and help her clean. I guess she could just throw everything away. She could give that sewing machine table to me -- I'll put it to use.
Oh My, I know I sound like my Mama but I could not rest with this in my house. Your Mama may shoot you for posting this....This picture mat end up with one of those red X's. At least it looks clean....just a little messy. If she worked on it for 15 minutes it would look so much better. Betty set a timer for 15 minutes and just go in there and work really busy for that 15 minutes...In 3 or 4 days it will be neat again.
It is too cold in that room to work. I just throw stuff in there. You thought I was kidding. Astrid went in there with me and said "Gigi this room is a mess". I told her I agreed.
Betty, ignore Helen's advise about the 15 minutes cleaning. Take 2 seconds and shut the door. The next time Erin comes down, tell her she has to make her bed before she lies in it.

I have found if you move real fast when you clean you warm up.....
This will not work for me, Sister. I can not move 'real' fast anymore.
