Richland

We came home early because we are old and tired. Here's a few pictures. I tried to get Greg to kiss the bobbie tree but he wouldn't. I did. Rocky is a good trail dog. Mom, do you remember this rock ?? We saw two snakes, one on the trail and one on the ride home. A few tics and birds but not squirrels or deer.

Hiking

I went hiking to hemmed in hollow at Compton, Arkansas yesterday. The falls weren't running so I just went to the overlook. It's a rough hike. Definately takes your breath away in more ways than one.

We are going camping at Richland Creek today through Monday. Hopefully the falls will be going there.

I went to the fleamarkets at Ozark yesterday. I found a few bargains and didnt' spend more than 10 dollars.

Greg finished his new nightstand. He's making mine now. It will be smaller in width and just be open with three shelves.

Suppertime

Can you guess what this is?? Very lean, but that doesn't matter because it was cooked in shortening! Potatoes aren't brown because I'm impatient.

10-17-7

Yesterday I cooked for the in-laws. We had pork loin roast, corn, mashed potatoes, asparagus wraps, and roasted carrots and onions. I must say it looked prettier than I thought it tasted. But the cake was wonderful. Definately not on my new diet... I shared the leftover cake with the girls from work. Me bringing them dessert is a weekly event. Next weekend I will be on vacation. Looking forward to 11 days with no work!

Quality Time

Greg and I went for a drive today before he went to bed. I like this old fire tower. He also showed me this pretty view. Daddy, we saw about 10 squirrels and I bet we heard 3 x's that. He did buy a new gun last weekend at the gunshow in Mountain Home. We'll see how long he keeps it. Rocky is getting his balls chopped off today so it is quiet here. I wonder if the vet will let me keep them? I could put them in a glass jar above the fridge. I bet everyone would mind there P's and Q's around me then!!!
