Long Time...

A lot has been going on. My computer was on the fritz... so I 'restored' it. We lost power for 2 days. It was actually nice. No tv... No electric hum. At nighttime you could hear all the generators in the neighborhood running. I cleaned out my fridge. I thought of you Helen. It was really yucky. You would be proud of me.
We went to our friends wedding last Saturday. They look so happy. All I have to do is look of this picture of me to affirm I need to lose weight. I could gag.
Clayton is going to Olan Mills in Branson to get his picture made today. I'm not sure what he'll wear.

We went to pick up our pictures from last week. I'll have to scan the pose in sometime. Mine are better. I think I'll check out Olan Mills (sp?) next week.

Clayton is getting so big. Greg and I are just amazed at how much he's changing. Gigi and Pop probably wouldn't recognize him if it weren't for all these pictures. Here he's taking a break -- see his foot resting. He left it there for a few minutes.

Company came for supper -- look at what we ate. The Griffin's have been out of town. Clayton was glad to see them. I'm taking over half of this cake up to work. Sorry you weren't here Pop.

Pet Chickens

Look Mom I got me some pet chickens like you and Patsy and Clayton.

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Greg wanted some 'homemade cinnamon rolls.' They are actually really easy cinnamon twists. I'm glad he hasn't had Aunt Helen's real cinnamon rolls. I think they'd be hard to make. These just took about 20 minutes from start to finish.

I should have kept my 7 dollars and taken my own pictures. There was an advertisement in the paper to have pictures made for 7 bucks (for one pose and a few pictures.) This is what we wore. I think my pictures were better. I wish I had a whole set up. I could really have some fun with lights and umbrellas. I'm going to have to research this.

I bought this for Clayton before he was born for him to wear around Christmas time. I doubt it fits past October.

Tonight Clayton and I went to a bridal shower at work. My friend Angie is marrying Greg's friend Vance. Yes, we were the matchmakers. Angie has lost over 80 lbs. Here is a before picture and an after picture. I am so proud of her. She's as nice as a person can be and an excellent nurse. Stacey is holding Clayton. He looks pretty content.
