1/17/10

We went outside today to play. It was still chilly but better than 20 below. I'm attempting my second batch of rolls and baking a ham. We'll see. I don't have a lot of faith in Mom's recipe. Next time I want to watch them be made. Easter?

An old lady in Harrison showed me how to make rolls. I had been married about a year. Mike and I rented a house on Widowers hill. There were more old widow women that lived up there. They all adopted me. I worked down the hill at a supermarket and almost every day had to bring some food item home for one of them. They were so old and most of them did not drive. They were very nice to me.

Goodness he reminds me of Brother Clayton....He is so pretty...Little Clayton, not brother Clayton...Strange how no teeth and no hair looks cute on one person and not another...
