The roses look beautiful.
I think you can start them
from a cutting that you put in dirt, but mine all get those
spots on them and die.

Erin these roses are pretty....while you are out driving I want you to go by and take a picture of the house Mike and I rented when we were married and living in your town. It was a little white house with 2 front doors on the front porch I want to see a picture of it. The lady that owned it lived next door in a brick house. Our house sat on a corner lot on the s/w corner of a side street...there was a huge magnola tree across the street in the neighbors front yard.To the north of us and across the street 2 houses up an old widdow woman lived, she was 80 at the time...1972.... maybe you can find her and she will remember which house it is. Her son was an announcer on the radio station there. She taught me how to make bread. Now I do not remember any of the street names or any of the neighbors names but I would like a picture of the house.

Erin if you could find that old lady that taught me how to make bread she would know which house it was. Also when she was younger she used to sew for people, she had gray hair.

Erin, to find Helen's house, you go to the Harrison Square, go up the south side of the square past the library. Just past the library (forgot if it is one or two blocks, but right in there) you turn to your right. Just after you turn on this side street,(or maybe one or two blocks up the street) you start up a VERY steep hill. On this side street, just as you start up that hill, Helen's appartment was on your left. It was a rock house, I think, with a walkin basement. I think Helen and Mike lived in an appartment in the basement. As I remember it, but I did not live there, they did not rent the whole house, but just the basement appartment? Helen??

I see Helen says it was a white house. Maybe it was. I know you turned right just past the library, then the house set on the corner on your left at the bottom of a steep hill. It could not have been more than 3 or 4 blocks up the street from where you turn off of the main street. You can find it. When Helen live there she drove a white barracuda, cause she wrecked Mike's Goat just before they got married. Look for a house on your left with a small white car in the very short driveway.
