I'm a 31 year old registered nurse -- just living to make a living. I keep busy taking care of 2 yr old son and new baby girl. I like to take pictures, visit junk stores, and cook.

Cabinet
For mom: here is a crooked picture of my new cabinet. It has three glass/mirrored shelves that go in it.

Decorating
I finally have my cabinet all squared away. I took a picture of my hutch as well. When I was looking at the picture on my computer I noticed the cobwebs on top of the it. I went right away to clean them off but I was too lazy to take another picture.
My Mom In law
I love my mother in law dearly. She would probably strangle me if she new I put this picture of her on my blog. This is her and a beer on Christmas morning.
For Helen
Helen, this is Mom's junk room. I think she would like for you to come for a visit -- and help her clean. I guess she could just throw everything away. She could give that sewing machine table to me -- I'll put it to use.

Wedding Announcement
The following wedding announcement was in the Harrison Daily Times online newspaper. I'm wondering if this was a peaceful ceremony. The bride with a massive shiner and the groom with a forced false teeth grin ?? I'll let you be the judge. Maybe she just slipped on the ice and maybe that's just the way he smiles ?

Vacation
It is official. I have scheduled another vacation in February. I decided that the only way I would get to take some time off would be to leave Arkansas behind for a week. I have booked a week in Las Vegas. Greg and I figure there will be enough to do to keep us busy. And the flight and room is real cheap.
On another note. I wore my Hannah's Hope shirt tonight. I didn't even realize what I had on till I checked out my tired self in the mirror. Laura Jene bought me this shirt last summer. A mission group was selling them to raise money for an upcoming trip. On the front it says Hannah's Hope: Isaiah 53:5.
This reads, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace, was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

12/1/06
It iced and snowed yesterday but it warmed up today and the sun showed up --- so it is all melting. I told my husband he still needed to drive me to work tonight but he refused. We took a trip to the farm and the roads were clear -- but I still would like a chauffeur. Starting tonight I work 9 of the next 10 days.
