I'm a 31 year old registered nurse -- just living to make a living. I keep busy taking care of 2 yr old son and new baby girl. I like to take pictures, visit junk stores, and cook.

The Umbrella
Ingrid with what she's always wanted -- an umbrella. I was suprised that all of her family members still had their eyes. The nurse in me is always envisioning something terrible.
You must get that from Mama...It was never just someone was going to get hurt. It was always something like..."Don't run with that umbrella you will fall and it will poke your eye out and we will have to take you to the hospital and the truck will probably not start and Clayton will have to run to the neighbors to get help and they will not be home and you will bleed to death and die!"
the thing mama told us was I'LL TELL DADDY! i remeber if it was early i would think, she will forget before daddy gets home ,if it was later in the day i would think, BETTER STOP COUSE DADDY WILL BE HOME SOON.
Hey, I remember the time...4th sister swallowed the fox tail. She almost died. There was no car. and Brother did have run to Lovetta's for help. So some of us that lived some of the worst, know, yes, it can happen!
Larry is worse than I am. Eric built the girls a little fire to roast hot dogs. Pop worried and worried that one of them would get their hair on fire. He won't let then ride in the back of the truck from their house to ours unless I set back there with them. We are bad off with two worriers. Baby did not have a chance. She got it from both of us.
Larry is right about riding in the back of the truck . once when i was 7 or 8 we were going to uncle Trumans and me and richard, donnie and jimmy was in the back of uncle trumans truck. Donnie fell out and we didn't know it until we got to trumans. i remember truman was so excited he ran back down the road instead of taking the truck. it knocked donnie out and he was lucky it didn't kill him.
daddy had a cousin that died when she fell off of the back of the truck. he was there i think at the time. that is why he doesnt like it. i think they were riding on the tailgate.
